On April 10 “Open NOVAT” educational project will present the first performance of the new cycle — The Battles and Triumphs in Ballets.
The programme includes: Act I of Spartacus, Act III of Flames of Paris and The Polovtsian Dances.
Ballet is the art of traditions. Themes, plots, dramatic scenarios flow from one production to another. We, however, are not talking monody. Ballet patterns, embodied in different choreographic, musical and scenic styles, preserve their bright individuality.
The Battles and Triumphs in Ballets is an opportunity for experiencing several productions during one evening.
The performances start at 1 p. m. and 7 p. m.
