We bring wonderful news: now you can purchase tickets for the main event of the 77th season, Notre Dame de Paris created by the outstanding choreographer Roland Petit. One of the most renowned productions of the legendary French maestro and classic choreographer of the XX century will premiere in NOVAT on 29, 30 and 31 October.
The famous ballet master created Norte Dame de Paris after Victor Hugo’s novel of the same name and staged it in 1965 for the Paris Opera Ballet. Roland Petit also acted as librettist for this production apart from designing choreography. Music score was written by a well-known composer Maurice Jarre, while the costumes were designed by the legendary Yves Saint-Laurent and the scenery created by set designer René Allio.
This production was staged at the best venues of the world: La Scala in Milan, Metropolitan opera in New-York, the Mariinsky Theatre in St.-Petersburg and the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
NOVAT Ballet Company is staging the premiere under the capable guidance of Luigi Bonino, Roland Petit’s assistant for many years, who staged his ballets in numerous theatres around the world.
First nights of Notre Dame de Paris on NOVAT Main Stage will feature world ballet stars Ivan Vasiliev and Angelina Vorontsova as well as top soloists of the Novosibirsk ballet company.
