The Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre has occupied the 26th place in the top 50 best theatres of Russia ranking made by experts of Yell.ru based on Runet users’ feedback.
According to Yell.ru statistics there are 1 105 theatres in Russia. 378 of them located in Moscow and 174 in Saint Petersburg. The top three positions have been occupied by the Moscow Cats Theatre (Moscow), the Irkutsk Musical Theatre named after N.M. Zagursky and the Russian State Academic Drama Theatre named after Fyodor Volkov (Yaroslavl). Seven Siberian theatres took prime positions in this ranking, including the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet on the 26th place.
«The experts have analyzed the feedback statistics in accordance with two basic indexes. The first one is the regional rating showing which theatres hold the leading positions in their cities and regions. The second one is the overall-Russia rating that indicates which theatres are commonly being visited and considered to be the best for spectators», the company says.
