The new performance of Leoncavallo’s “Pagliacci” which is considered to be the manifest of the Verism artistic movement (“vero” in Italian means “true”, “genuine”) is being prepared in terms of “Italian neorealism” by the director Irkin Gabitov and the designer Vyacheslav Okunev.
