We invite you to celebrate the 77th birthday of our Victory Theatre with renowned artists of Russia. On this day the Main Stage of the theatre will host a big gala concert “Happy birthday, NOVAT!” Our Victory Theatre welcomed its first audience in the notorious month of May 1945 during the celebration of overthrowing fascism. Soloists of the Bolshoi and the Mikhailovsky Theatre along with NOVAT luminaries will join us on the big day to congratulate the theatre. The music theatre stars made the time to take part in the celebration, so the theatre management made a decision to cancel the premiere of The Little Humpbacked Horse, previously scheduled on this date.
The event will feature soloists of the Bolshoi Ballet – Honored Artist of Russia Ivan Vasiliev, Principal Dancers with the Bolshoi Ballet Denis Rodkin and Vladislav Lantratov, Soloist with the Bolshoi Ballet Eleonora Sevenard and the People’s Artist of Russia Maria Alexandrova, opera and ballet stars of the Mikhailovsky Theatre – Sofia Fainberg, Anastasia Soboleva and Viktor Lebedev, Irina Perren and Marat Shemiunov; soloists with Moscow Music Theatre Helikon-opera Alexei Tikhomirov; opera and ballet artists of NOVAT: Sofia Bachaeva, Diana Belozor, Olga Kolobova, Ekaterina Marzoeva, Irina Novikova, Galina Petkevich, Svetlana Tokareva, Daria Shuvalova, Elizaveta Tselikova, Yulia Yumaeva, Artem Akimov, Mikhail Agafonov, Konstantin Buinov, Guriy Guryev, Andrei Denisov, Yuri Komov, Artistic Director of the ballet company Leonid Sarafanov, People’s Artist of Russia Anna Zharova, Honored Artist of Russia Olga Grishenkova, Anna Germizeeva and Roman Polkovnikov. The performance will be conducted by an Honored Artist of Russia Pavel Sorokin.
