Ernest Latypov, Principal dancer of NOVAT ballet company stated the following: “The Novosibirsk ballet company has a high professional standard of dancing. For me it’s an honor and a great responsibility to become Principal dancer here. I’m planning to take part in three or four performances each month on the average. I like to have an opportunity to try my skills in different choreography, especially Nacho Duato’s works. The major part of the season is already settled, so I will have to perform both familiar parts and the new ones. Some of my personal premieres are planned to happen in this winter. It’s a huge professional advantage for a dancer to have his future works scheduled. It gives you freedom to advance professionally. Here I will have that as well as a chance to work under the supervision of an outstanding artist Denis Matvienko. I am also a guest Principal dancer of the Mikhailovsky theatre, which doubles my reach. I am very excited to work under the guidance of a legendary tutor Mikhail Messerer”.

Ernest Latypov was born in the Kyrgyz Republic. In 2012 he graduated from Vaganova Ballet Academy, where he studied under Gennady Selyutsky. With the Mariinsky theatre he danced both classic and contemporary repertoire, performing lead parts of the following ballets: “La Bayadère”, “Swan Lake”, “Don Quixote”, “A Legend of Love”, “The Little Humpbacked Horse“ and other.
