The Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre opened its doors to the public on May 12, 1945, just three days after the end of the Great Patriotic War. It became known as the Theatre of Victory, symbolizing the beginning of a new, peaceful era, in the minds of the people of our city and the entire country. For 81 years, we have continued to fulfill this mission of inspiring and giving hope and faith in a better future.
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed their efforts and talent to the formation and development of our Theatre of Victory, everyone who is working for the glory of NOVAT today, and, of course, all our audiences! You have made our theatre what it is today, filled its history with achievements, exciting premieres, and unforgettable emotions!
There are still many creative projects, new ideas, and accomplishments ahead!
