During 2017 different venues of Novosibirsk hosted events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Novosibirsk region. In September NOVAT’s employees received anniversary awards from the regional authorities. The following people received anniversary medals “80 years of the Novosibirsk region”:
National Artist of Russia, winner of international theatre prize “Golden Mask”, first dancer of NOVAT Anna Zharova;
National Artist of Russia, winner of international competitions, ballet tutor Larisa Vasilevskaya;
Honored Artist of Russia, winner of all-Russian and international competitions, director of NOVAT ballet company Olga Obukhova;
Winner of national theatre festivals “Golden Mask”, conductor Eugene Volynsky;
A certificate of appreciation by the Ministry of Culture of the Novosibirsk region went to the Chief Stage Director of the theatre, Ph. D. in History of Arts Vyacheslav Starodubtsev.
