In January 2026, we will have long New Year's holidays. By tradition, we will all devote this wonderful time to warm family rejoicings, sincere meetings with friends and, of course, we will plan a special cultural program.
During these wonderful days, NOVAT offers performances and concerts that will certainly give our audience a festive mood and the most vivid theatrical impressions. And, of course, your theatre in Siberia will once again delight you with luxurious New Year decorations and beautiful areas for spectacular photos.
On the Grand Stage, the new year will begin on January 2 with brilliant Strauss melodies and the sparkling operetta Die Fledermaus. The Small Hall invites you to the festive theatrical concert Winter Festive Evening at NOVAT on January 3 and 10, which the audience always welcomes with delight.
Winter holidays cannot be surely imagined without the most magical New Year's tale: the favourite ballet The Nutcracker by P. Tchaikovsky will be waiting for young and adult audiences on January 6-9. Also, during the winter fun and entertainment, we invite the whole family to visit the ballet performances Cinderella, Le Corsaire, Cipollino in the Grand Hall, and on the Small Stage wonderful fairy tales will be shown ‒ operas The Twelve Months, Morozko, The Steadfast Tin Soldier.
The New Year's holiday playbill features spectacular productions of world opera masterpieces: the cheerful Il barbiere di Siviglia by G. Rossini and the majestic opera Aida by G. Verdi. Captivating melodies of the Strauss dynasty will be performed in the Small Hall on Christmas evening on January 7 in the concert of the popular cycle Tales from the Vienna Woods.
