Excursion “Architectural styles of NOVAT”

The tour “Architectural Styles of NOVAT” introduces the history of the design and construction of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, a unique architectural structure in terms of scale and complexity. Using the example of architectural elements and interior details of Russia's largest theatre building, you will compare constructivism and the “Stalinist Empire” style – two architectural styles that dominated the USSR in the first half of the 20th century and defined the appearance of our theatre.
