A magnificent gala concert by People's Artist of Russia, prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre Svetlana Zakharova will be held on NOVAT's Grand Stage as part of the XII Trans-Siberian Art Festival.
Incomparable Svetlana Zakharova and other stars of Russian and world ballet — Anastasia Stashkevich, Elizaveta Kokoreva, Artemy Belyakov, Mikhail Lobukhin and Semyon Chudin (Bolshoi Theatre) and Bakhtiyar Adamzhan (Astana Opera) – will take part in the concert.
The program features fragments from recognized masterpieces of ballet art — Spartacus, Don Quixote, Carmen Suite, the famous choreographic miniature The Dying Swan performed by Svetlana Zakharova herself will be a real gift to the audience.
A special place in the program of the gala concert is occupied by the work of modern choreographers – you will see the works of Mauro Bigonzetti, Alexander Sergeev, Vladimir Varnava, Alexander Mogilev, Artemy Belyakov and Ilya Zhivoy. They were inspired by the music of Antonio Vivaldi, Claude Debussy and contemporary authors such as Arvo Pärt, Bruno Moretti, Carlo Domeniconi. These numbers amaze the imagination with their ingenuity and expressive movement.
