Children's choir master

Margarita Mezentseva

Margarita Mezentseva graduated from the Choral Department of the Novosibirsk Music College named after A. Murov (class of M. Rudakova, 2003) and the Conducting and Choral Faculty of the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M. Glinka (class of A. Kim, 2008).

In 2005, she joined the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Choir as an artist.

Since 2013, she has been the chorus master of the children's choir of the theatre.

As a choirmaster, she is engaged in preparing the children's choir of the theatre to participate in repertory performances and concerts: La Boheme, Carmen, Un ballo in maschera, Pagliacci, Prince Igor, Turandot, Tosca, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, The Booted Cat , performances of the NOVAT-piccolo studio project for children; anniversary gala concerts of the theatre (2021), participation in the performance of Metropolitan Hilarion's Christmas Oratorio (2018), in the production of the opera Christmas by Iraida Salnikova (a joint project of the Novosibirsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, the theatre and the Art Holding Company Holy World, 2017).

Margarita Mezentseva prepares and presents with the children's choir the annual performance reports and concert programs Childhood Festival in NOVAT (choral works by S. Rachmaninoff, G. Sviridov, B. Britten; songs by Russian composers V. Shainsky, E. Ptichkin, V. Basner, I. Dunaevsky, D. Dubravin, Y. Chichkov, E. Krylatov, A. Zatsepin, S. Nikitin, V. Gavrilin, etc.).

The children’s choir of the theatre is a participant in film concerts within the framework of the All-Russian festival Soyuzmultfilm, held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian Cultural Foundation on the initiative of the Charitable Foundation Harmony of Childhood together with the group of companies Zapomni (2020).

The children's choir of the theatre under the direction of M. Mezentseva took part in the International Singing Festival Beautiful Far Away: digest online (Kemerovo, 2020).
