Laureate of All-Russian and international competitions
In 2024, Alexey Babushkin graduated from the Conducting Faculty of the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M. Glinka (Choral Conducting — class of People's Artist of Russia, Professor I. Yudin; Artistic Directing of the Opera and Symphony Orchestra - class of I. Shatalov). During his studies, he worked with the Student Symphony Orchestra named after I. Sollertinsky, as well as the conductor of the Novosibirsk State Glinka Conservatory Opera Studio. He conducted such works as the Second Symphony by L. Beethoven, Violin Concerto in D Major and Tchaikovsky's opera Eugene Onegin, Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 2, Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 and opera Aleko. In 2023, together with a group of students, he organized the Conservatory's Youth Orchestra.
Since 2022, Alexey Babushkin has been the conductor of the Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra NovoSymf.
Since 2023, he has been the conductor of the Novosibirsk City Wind Band.
Since 2024, he has been the conductor of the Novosibirsk Youth Orchestra.
Since 2024, Alexey Babushkin has been an assistant conductor at the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, where he has participated as an assistant in productions of Rigoletto by G. Verdi and Eugene Onegin by P. Tchaikovsky.
As a conductor and choirmaster, he released the New Year's divertissement Morozko with the Novosibirsk Choral Chapel and the Siberian Dixieland Jazz Orchestra of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Society (2023).
Within the frameworks of the Trans-Siberian Art Festival, he participated in master classes by Honoured Artist of Russia, Professor Yuri Tkachenko (2021), Honoured Art Worker of Russia, Professor Alexander Polishchuk (2020, 2023), Honoured Art Worker of the Estonian SSR Andres Mustonen (2023).
As a conductor, Alexey Babushkin collaborated with the Chamber Orchestra of the Altai Territory State Philharmonic Society.
