On the days of the merry winter holidays, NOVAT invites you to immerse yourself in the kind atmosphere of Christmas, New Year's festivities and yuletide sacrament!

Numerous works about the most extraordinary time of the year, when people gather around their hearth, waiting for magic and singing their favourite, familiar songs, were left by composers of different eras and countries, styles and genres.

The theatre's choir has prepared an amazing concert program dedicated to these bright moments. The first part will feature famous Christmas carols, fragments of Christmas cantatas and oratorios by Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn, Saint-Saens, Berlioz, and others. The second part will surprise you with the works of 20th-21st century composers, as well as popular Christmas and New Year songs in choral arrangements.
