One of the most famous children's fairy tales The Three Little Pigs comes to life in ballet. A story familiar to everyone about hard work and friendship, but also about cunning and ingenuity, will make everyone laugh and cheer up – both adults and children, and the beauty of ballet grace will amaze even the youngest viewer!
The brave little pigs Nif, Noof and Nafa plunge into a real adventure. There are many dangers waiting for them along the way, but the forest dwellers – graceful Butterflies, tireless Ants, a nimble Squirrel and a serious Hedgehog – will help friends teach the cunning Wolf a lesson and build their own house.
A new production of a charming story told in the language of classical ballet on the NOVAT stage will give young viewers a lot of vivid impressions, and a modern visual backdrop will transfer them to the atmosphere of a really fabulous forest.
This fairy tale will tell you
About lazy little pigs
And that work and friendship
Will win everything in the world.
Merrily and amicably there lived three little pigs – Nif, Noof and their little sister Nafa. One day they decided to go for a walk in the forest.
They walked and walked and did not notice how night fell. Cuddling up to each other, the little pigs fell asleep.
Early in the morning, at the edge of the forest, where the little pigs rested, work began to boil. Indefatigable ants, a busy squirrel, and a prickly hedgehog built themselves a warm, safe home for the winter.
– Will you accept us, fellows, –
The little pigs asked, –
We three will help you
Build a new house together.
– Okay, just don't make any noise, – the hedgehog warned them, – the wolf will hear you, and then everyone will be in trouble.
The little pigs set to work together. However, they soon got tired of it. It's much more pleasant to have fun and loaf around.
Forgetting about everything in the world, they started running through the forest, chasing butterflies and made such a noise that they woke up a wolf. The sleepy, hungry and very angry wolf appeared from behind the bushes... Poor stupid little pigs! They had never seen a real wolf and fled in terror. The wolf was chasing them, breaking thorny bushes and clanking its teeth terribly.
…The noise of the chase reached the edge of the forest. Friendly builders were alarmed. It was necessary to rescue the guilty little pigs from trouble.
As soon as the wolf appeared, the bristling hedgehog ran out to meet him, the ants crawled out, the squirrel showered him with a hail of nuts and cones. From surprise, the wolf was confused, scared and fell into a trap. And he suddenly became so feeble, funny and not at all scary.
Meanwhile, the little pigs, recovering from fright, realized that they had acted very, very badly by running away from friends.
Taking pity on the wolf, the friends fed him tasty porridge, and then they all set about their work together.
