This one-act ballet was first staged in the mid-XX century at the Bolshoi Theatre and became a success not only in Moscow, but also abroad. Asaf Messerer showed to the audience the dancers’ daily work at the ballet studio. During this staged lesson, each artist from a young pupil to a Company Principal performs various traditional exercises – from simple ones to the most intricate. A cascade of masterful leaps and spins turns a ballet class into an unforgettable show. NOVAT ballet company captivate the audience with their artistry under the capable guidance of Mikhail Messerer, one of the world's most prominent experts in XX century ballet art.
