Konstantin Buinov graduated from the Novosibirsk Conservatory named after M. Glinka (2003) and postgraduate studies in vocal class (2005, class of the People’s Artist of Russia, prof. V. Urbanovich).

He has been with the Company of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2000. He performed the following parts on the stage of the theatre: Prince Igor (Prince Igor by Borodin), Shaklovity (Khovanshchina by Mussorgsky), Salieri (Mozart and Salieri by Rimsky-Korsakov), Aleko (Aleko by Rachmaninoff), Amonasro (Aida by Verdi), Kuligin (Katya Kabanova by Janacek), Dobchinsky (The Government Inspector by Dashkevich, world premiere), Mole (The Steadfast Tin Soldier by Banevich), Bear (Terem-teremok by Polsky).

He toured with the Theatre Company in Thailand and South Korea.
