Laureate of an All-Russian competition, laureate of international competitions

Svetlana Tokareva graduated from the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M. Glinka (2007) and completed post graduate studies there (2009, class of the Honored Artist of Russia, assistant professor T. Gorbunova).

She has been in the Company of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2005.

She performed the following parts on the stage of the theatre: Sonyetka (Shostakovich’s Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk); Lyubasha, Dunyasha (Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride); Krystina (Weinberg’s The Passenger); Dorabella (Mozart’s Così fan tutte); Maddalena (Verdi’s Rigoletto); Varvara, Glasha (Janáček’s Katya Kabanova); Marthe (Gounod’s Faust); Neighbour (Stravinsky’s Mavra); Olga (Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin); Laura (Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta); Emilia (Verdi’s Otello); Rosina (Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia); Suzuki, Kate (Puccini’s Madama Butterfly); (The Tale of the Priest and of his Workman Balda by Kravchenko); Money-Box (The Steadfast Tin Soldier by Banevich); Mezzo soprano part (Sacred Winter of 1949 by Desyatnikov); Soloist (Rossini’s Stabat Mater).
