Kristina Kalinina

Laureate of All-Russian and international competitions

In 2017, Kristina Kalinina graduated from the Novosibirsk College of Music named after A. Murov and entered the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M. Glinka (class of Associate Professor O. Egudina). Currently, she is a first-year trainee assistant (class of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor T. Gorbunova).

She took part in master classes with Elena Zaremba, Dmitry Vdovin, Tamara Sinyavskaya, Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, Dmitry Korchak. She was a scholar of the Muslim Magomayev Foundation for the 2021-2022 academic year.

In 2021, she became a finalist in the auditions for the Bolshoi Theatre's Youth Opera Program, and also took part in the Elena Obraztsova Foundation's Youth Educational and Creative Project “Opera Class” under the direction of Dmitry Korchak.

Kristina's repertoire includes such parts as: Donna Eleonora (Prima la musica e poi le parole by Salieri), Angelica (Suor Angelica by Puccini), Natasha (Not Love Alone by Shchedrin), Lucy (The Telephone or l'Amour a Trois by Menotti), Rusalka (Rusalka by Dvořák), Francesca (Francesca da Rimini by Rachmaninoff), Katherina (The Taming of the Shrew by Shebalin), Marfa (The Tsar's Bride by Rimsky-Korsakov), Iolanta (Iolanta by Tchaikovsky), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni by Mozart), Silva Varescu (Sylva by Kalman), Tsaritsa Militrisa (The Tale of Tsar Saltan by Rimsky-Korsakov).
