Artem Akimov graduated from the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M. Glinka with a specialization in Musical and Theatrical Art (class of Associate Professor D. Suslov, 2021).

Since 2021, he has been in the Company of the Novosibirsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre.

During his studies, he took part in productions of the opera studio of the conservatory, where he performed the roles of Heinrich von Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus by Strauss), Eugene Onegin (Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky), Marcel (La boheme by Puccini), Ben (The Telephone by Menotti).

He performed at such concert venues as the State Academic Chapel (St. Petersburg), the Novosibirsk State Philharmonic, the Tomsk State Philharmonic and others.

On the stage of NOVAT, he performed more than 10 opera parts, including the part of the Count (Le Nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart), Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas by Purcell), Yeletsky (The Queen of Spades. The Game by Tchaikovsky), Petruchio (The Taming of the Shrew by Shebalin).
