Olga Kolobova graduated from the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M. Glinka (class of Prof. N. Lubyanovskaya, 2002).

She has been in the Company of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2002. On the stage of the theatre, she performed the parts of Zemfira (Aleko by Rachmaninoff), Aksinya. A female convict (Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk by Shostakovich), Wife (Life with an Idiot by Schnittke, nomination for the Golden Mask Award), Marfa (The Tsar's Bride by Rimsky-Korsakov), Lady Abigail (The Canterville Ghost by Molchanov, world premiere), the soprano part (Les noces by Stravinsky), Annina (La traviata by Verdi). Today, the soloist's repertoire includes more than 25 roles in theatre performances.

She toured with the Theatre Company in Moscow, Kazakhstan, Germany, Italy, and South Korea.
