The Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, which opened on May 12, 1945, is rightfully called the Victory Theatre. Every year on May 9, the theatre presents a large concert program dedicated to the anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). And this year the tradition will be continued.

In 2025, the country celebrates the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The war years, which were difficult for the entire Russian nation, changed the course of world history, but also the fate of people. The highest price was paid for the Victory – the price of life. Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers performed a feat every day – there was work for everyone. Step by step, facing the enemy, they brought the last day of the war closer. They stood up, they won… It is our main task, as for the heirs, to preserve the memory of the great feat of our people. For love of the Motherland, for peace and freedom…

The program of the concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory will feature favourite and familiar songs about military valour, soldier's friendship and honour, moments of sorrow and joy, and unwavering courage in the rear and on the battlefield.
