The production premiered on January 21, 2016.

Georgi Kovtun suggests one more interpretation of music by Aram Khachaturian and a new version of the tragedy happened in the Roman Empire in I century B. C. Admiration for legendary productions by Leonid Yakobson and Yuri Grigorovich doesn’t keep the choreographer from choosing his own way. New production, bustling and harsh, unites dance, music, singing and drama.
