Yulia Yumaeva graduated from the Department of Vocal Art and an internship at the Academy of Choral Art named after V. Popov (class of Prof., Cand. Sc. Education N. Nikulina, 2018).

Since 2019, she has been in the Company of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

2008-2010 – an artist of the Omsk Drama Theatre “Galerka”.

2014-2016 – a soloist of the State Academic Moscow Regional Choir named after A. Kozhevnikov. She toured with the choir in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.

She took part in the Russian premiere of J. Cage's opera Europeras 1&2, performing the soprano solo part (GITIS, Moscow, 2013).

Yulia Yumaeva repeatedly performed at the concerts, including solo ones, at various venues, including: the Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts named after M. Vrubel (2013), the German Historical Institute (Moscow, 2014), the Prokofiev Museum, the Chekhov House Museum (Moscow, 2015), the A. Tvardovsky Cultural Centre, the National Cultural Centre of Ukraine (Moscow, 2016), the Organ Hall of the Omsk Philharmonic (2015-2018), the Central Library named after A. Akhmatova (Moscow), the State Central Theatre Museum named after A. Bakhrushin (Moscow), Concert Hall of the Moscow Regional Music College named after A. Scriabin (city of Elektrostal).

She participated in master classes by S. Zaliznyak (People’s Artist of Russia, Professor of the Ural State Conservatory named after M. Mussorgsky) and S. Skigin (Professor of the School of Music Hanns Eisler Berlin).
