Diploma winner of an All-Russian competition and laureate of international competitions

Olga Obukhova graduated from the Ural State Conservatory named after M. Mussorgsky (class of the People’s Artist of Russia, Prof. M. Vladimirova, 1989).

She has been in the Company of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre since 1989. Her repertoire includes the following parts: Marfa (Mussorgsky’s Khovanshchina), Lyubasha (Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride), Marina Mniszech, Prince Fyodor (Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov), Amneris (Verdi’s Aida), Azucena (Verdi’s Il Trovatore), Carmen (Bizet’s Carmen), Delilah (Samson and Delilah by Saint-Saëns), Konchakovna (Borodin’s Prince Igor), Orfeo (Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice), Flora (Verdi’s La Traviata), Olga (Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin), Laura (Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta), Sonyetka (Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk by Shostakovich), the Princess (Dargomyzhsky’s Rusalka), Countess, Polina, Milovzor, Governess (Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades), Maddalena (Verdi’s Rigoletto), Varvara (Janáček’s Katya Kabanova, first Russian performer), Lady (Verdi’s Macbeth), Snow Queen (The Story of Kay and Gerda by Sergey Banevich), Ulrica (Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera), solo part in Verdi’s Requiem, and others; also she has a rich concert repertoire.

Olga Obukhova attended a number of master classes by well-known Italian singers and accompanists, took part in several international festivals in Finland as a special guest. She toured with the Theatre Company in Egypt, Spain, Germany, and Italy.

From 2014 to 2022, she was the Manager of the Opera Company at NOVAT.
